Teen Programming
We offer programs and services for youth ages 12 to 18. Our Teen Programs focus on education and career support, homework support, physical activity, arts, music instruction, nutrition, life skills and transition to independence skills, leadership development and recreation.
The majority of our Teen Programs are offered out of our teen centre, The Outlet. The Outlet is a safe, friendly, welcoming atmosphere where youth can feel like they belong and take part in productive, engaging activities. The Outlet is Yorkton’s only teen centre! We are located at 54 C Smith Street West, in the basement unit. The Outlet is a space designed for teens ages 12 to 18 to feel welcome, safe, engaged and have a sense of ownership. The majority of our Teen Programming is housed in The Outlet.

LeadUp 2.0
Teen After-School Program
Learn On
Learn On is an academic support program for youth aged 13 – 21. Learn On aims to bridge systemic inequities in educational attainment, enhance academic opportunities for youth, and support youth as they enter adulthood by providing academic and social supports in Clubs.
Learn On has activities and resources across three focus areas:
Academic Support
Encompasses activities that directly and indirectly support youth in finding success in their academic life and graduating high school on time.
Transitional Support
Refers to activities that assist youth in moving between milestone events in their academic and personal lives.
Social-Emotional Wellbeing
Refers to the intentional activities within Learn On that will support youth’s overall wellness. This will include specialized training for staff on regulation, trauma-informed practice, and emotional intelligence.
Youth who participate in Learn On are supported in reaching the following outcomes:
- increased confidence in their ability to ultimately complete high school;
- increased sense of engagement in their learning;
- increased sense of resilience when faced with barriers to educational attainment;
- develop the skills, support, and knowledge to ease the transitions between grades and life milestones;
- better prepared to make informed decisions about their career and post-secondary options, and;
- increased access to the people, tools, and resources required to support their educational goals
Clothes For Bros
Located at: The Outlet – 54 C Smith Street West

Clothes for Bros is a free youth closet! Youth up to the age of 18 can come shop the closet for free and pick out some great clothes and accessories.
We stock men’s and ladies’ clothing from size small through plus size. Clothes for Bros is a great way to be green & kind to the environment and it’s also budget friendly! The Closet is open by appointment only and the youth must be in attendance to take items.
We do accept donations of youth appropriate, gently used or new clothes and accessories. Donations must be clean, laundered and in good condition. Donations can be dropped off during office or program hours at The Outlet – 54 C Smith Street West.
LeadUp 2.0
LeadUp 2.0 provides youth with opportunities to engage in youth-led service initiatives that will address community needs, encouraging them to develop life and work skills, self-confidence, and self-efficacy, while discovering new opportunities. LeadUp 2.0 provides opportunities for leadership development and engages youth in meaningful service and promotes youth civic engagement.
