We are located at 54 C Smith Street West, in the basement unit. The Outlet is a space designed for teens ages 12 to 18 to feel welcome, safe, engaged and have a sense of ownership. Teen After-School Program

Raise the Grade

Raise the Grade is a national program designed to provide basic academic support (literacy, numeracy, and languages), tools and resources needed to excel in both inside and outside the classroom.

It is dedicated to helping Canada’s youth overcome the barriers they face in getting the most out of their education, particularly those who are at risk due to poverty, isolation, being new to Canada, or who face challenges at home.

With the support of the BGC CANADA will deliver a new multi-faceted education program called Raise the Grade , aimed at increasing academic skills, high school gradation rates and access to post-secondary education for at-risk youth from a select group of Boys and Girls Clubs across the country, BGC YORKTON are pleased to be a part of the program in its inaugural year.

Raise the Grade will provide our youth with the skills, tools and opportunities necessary to excel academically and secure their future success as productive, independent and contributing members of society. It is an interactive after-school program that allows youth to explore their personal interests, receive homework support, connect with mentors and/or tutors, interact with peers, increase their digital literacy and plan for post-secondary education.
