May 6th is McHappy Day!
SaskAbilities, BGC Yorkton, and SIGN Named Local McHappy Day Recipients!
SaskAbilities, BGC Yorkton, and SIGN are pleased to announce we have been selected as local recipients of this year’s McHappy Day, McDonald’s annual charity day!
On May 6, McDonald’s restaurants in Yorkton and Melville will donate a portion of proceeds from every menu item sold to support these local charities, and of course, the Ronald McDonald House.
“We are incredibly grateful to McDonald’s, its staff, and the community for choosing to support our organizations through McHappy Day,” said Andrew Sedley, with SIGN. “This partnership will make a meaningful difference for the individuals and families we serve, and we’re proud to be part of an initiative that brings the community together for such an important cause.”
McHappy Day has become a much‑anticipated annual event, inviting community members to enjoy their favourite McDonald’s food and drinks while giving back locally. Staff, volunteers, participants, or clients from each organization will be present at the restaurants to help celebrate the day.
Yorkton and Melville community members are encouraged to visit their local McDonald’s on May 6 to take part in McHappy Day and support SaskAbilities, BGC Yorkton, and SIGN!
