BGC Yorkton Receives Canada Summer Jobs Funding
BGC Yorkton is pleased to share that we have been successful in receiving funding through the Canada Summer Jobs program for 2026.
After the devastating impact of not being approved last summer, this announcement comes as a breath of fresh air and a renewed sense of hope for our organization and the families we serve. This funding will allow us to provide 50 children and youth with access to safe, supportive, and engaging summer day camps and care.
These programs play a vital role in our community—offering young people opportunities to learn, build friendships, and stay active during the summer months, while also supporting working families with reliable care.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who stood by us, supported us, and advocated on our behalf over the past year. Your voices made a difference, and this outcome is something we share together as a community.
